An acrylic on canvas entitled ‘Me Me Me’ by Ian Robinson. . .
c.2009. . .
Measures:72cm high x 58cm wide. . .
Ian Robinson is a Northumbrian artist now living in London. The inspiration for this work was taken from a tube journey, when Ian spotted dozens of London ‘Metro’ free newspapers strewn all over the underground. The typeface reflects the Metro newspaper logo and the interpretation speaks for itself. He previously did one in blue and this commission is in bright shocking pink, the idea behind this was to convey both masculine and feminine selfishness.
