Retrospective 2 #Ceramics By Wilfred Norton RA

Whilst sorting through and filing old photographs, I came upon this collection of ceramics by Wilfred Norton RA (1880-1973). These were acquired over twelve years ago now, the circumstances, I quite forget. However over the years, many people have found the images online and asked if they were still for sale. I love the angular – and lustre that is almost metallic – feel to these pieces, usually depicting Mythological or Religious figures, which have immense presence and depth of meaning – they scream the thirties!
