A pair of fine Irish mahogany ‘Trafalgar’ chairs. With unusual rope twist back rails and Klismos style legs. With gilt bronze acanthus paterae and each chair stamped to the underside. Upholstered in ivory velvet with a military gold braid border. . .

 

Trafalgar chairs (with nautical themes) were in vogue after the Battle Of Trafalgar. . .

An unusual Italian bar cabinet by Osvaldo Borsani. With a rosewood veneered exterior, with sculptural doors in sycamore, with etched rose glass panels and pale blue door handles. The interior fitted with shaped glass shelves, mirrored walls and red glass bottom shelf. The inside doors in blond wood. A very unusual piece. . .
